My name is Steven Sneideman and for the past eight years I have had the privilege of serving you on the Canton Township Board of Trustees. My wife Kelli and I along with our daughters Emily and Maggie, have called the Canton Community home for over 25 years. I work as a technology professional as a Program Manager with AT&T.
Serving you the past eight years as your Canton Trustee and prior to that as the President of the Plymouth-Canton Community Schools Board of Education have been an honor. I have had the opportunity to work with so many of you as a leader in our neighborhoods, schools, volunteer groups, and the Canton community.
When you first elected me in 2012 I promised to increase transparency in our government, to ensure smarter development planning, to find sustainable solutions to our traffic issues, and create a more welcoming community for everyone to call home. I've never forgotten that you have elected me to fight for and serve you, not the special interests and big money developers.
Together, along with my colleagues, we have enacted a comprehensive ethics ordinance, found sustainable solutions to the Ford Road traffic problem, expanded green spaces for residents, and adopted changes to make Canton a more inclusive and welcoming community. I am proud of the hard work we have accomplished together, but know there is still much more to be done.
Let's continue to keep moving Canton forward. I am asking for your support in the November 3rd General Election to serve you once more as a Canton Township Trustee.
- Steven Sneideman, Democrat for Canton Trustee
